Yay! Everyone is getting excited, the boring and choked space is getting spiced up. Indeterminately, things are taking new forms and people are getting used to the new normalcy.
Liverpool has walked away with the Premier league cup even if they lose their remaining matches. Chelsea, Leicester City, and Manchester United are fighting for the 3rd place, alongside their fan base filled with autonomous drama and reactions. Real Madrid got the La Liga cup already — ooin, Zidane is doing well. We all know Juventus will be the one walking majestically away with the Serie A Cup.
Sports, Entertainment, Events and so on are back — well, just a bit unusual. Many have lost their jobs during the whole pandemic saga while some are back to work and few are working from home. Education is on a template of complications, different dramas for each new day. Nevertheless, the human race is winning again.
So far so good, we’ve been seizing every opportunity and solutions to have our lives back but we are not naive of existential truth. Just when we are trying to stay sane from the unlimited actions from political leaders, something spectacular sets in; the known reality show, Big Brother Naija! (Lockdown Edition).
It is a whole form of vibe and trends on its own. Luck seems to be smiling on the unemployed association, at least they will have something to talk and think about. Funny enough, some oldies take it more seriously than some youths — “people wey no get worries.”
As many will be getting negligent and oblivious with the latest vogue in town, forgetting their deadlines, left unprepared for what is to come of them and their businesses, remember that, as many will be wasting money unnecessarily, many will be earning or might even get rich.
One thing is sure, at the end of this few-weeks unreality paparazzi, you will definitely fall into a category either reasonable or unreasonable. There will be selfless money-wasters, sarcastic time-wasters, a carefree audience, opportunists, and so on.
The main message, as a creative, “Is this going to be an opportunity or a distraction for you as a brand?”
You’re uncertain? You are skeptical about whether you have the necessary incentives? Well, don’t be — if you don’t start, you can’t finish.
Share an idea and let the community see how feasible it is.
