The week started with the release of the 4th Edition of The Scroll, COLOGENY’s newsletter. Articles on Sports, Tech, Lifestyle, including COLOGENY Member Of The Week were part of the posts that made up the newsletter. Wait! You haven’t read it yet? You know what to do!

On Monday, we had Obanla Fisayo talk on: “The Data-Driven Approach: What It Entails” on the whatsapp group at 8:00pm. It was really a lot of insightful knowledge to take in.

Wednesday came with sad news, one of which was the cruel murder of Gokada CEO, Fahim Saleh in his house, and the report of the death of the First Female Combat Helicopter Pilot in Nigeria, who allegedly died from complications, resulting from a road accident at the NAF base in Kaduna. Further investigation indicated that the CEO’s former PA, was the main suspect in his cruel murder, as a result of a huge debt he was owing his former employer.

Also, senate readings on treating Men as rape victims, and different reactions was dropped in regards to this.

That wasn’t the end of the entangled day, as Twitter had its servers hacked in a well-planned attack on the followers of prominent individuals, which led to the followers losing their Bitcoin in a bid to double the value. The hack is still being investigated and it came two days after Whatsapp was temporarily down for few minutes.

There was a short session on “Importance Of A Good Ad Strategy” by Ogbodo Isaac on Thursday, which started few minutes after 8:00pm.

Saturday night saw the members grooving to the AfroFusion playlist, which had 20 songs. Afterwards, there was a Lyrics game to wrap up the night.
